Has anyone had sucess in installing the ATI drivers in Debian? The ones you download off their site are RPM and I tryed alien but I got some errors. Anyone else had any luck with something else?

I added a few other arguments and got it to work. But know I am having other problems. I think I messed up my drivers cause I messed up my XF86Config-4 so I ran xf86config and now X won't work at all. Tells me somehting about no screen. So not really to sure what is going on.
