I am pretty sure that ati driver is not compatible with the new xorg the F7 uses.

ok i am not a linux expert so i will try to explain myself the best i can -- the first thing i do is dowload the ati driver from website version 8.38 , i run the rpm in super user mode , then i install the driver (i follow the instruction on ati website) at the end it ask to save the xorg configuration i dont really know what it means after they ask to make aticonfig --initial in /usr/X11R6/bin but theres is no bin directory in X11R6 so i enter the command in the X11R6 directory something happen but at the end it say (abandon) i restart kde no 3d support , im pretty sure you guys need more information , but im tired to reinstall fedora each time i fail installing driver.
So if someone can help me with the few information i have good if not i will try to reinstall it tonight and im gonna show you guys the error report
also if anyone know a kind of website with the procedure to follow plz let me know im not sure the ati procedure from the website are ok , i saw some people install them with yum but i dont have any idea how to do it.
I read that the xorg in fedora 7 was not compatible or something like that until 8.38 driver release, now that these driver are avalaible im pretty sure the error is fixed
Thx for helping me guys !!!!!

Why do not use the Livna rpm driver? Fedora and Ati has an issue so probably you will never run your ati card on fedora until ati release the bugfix. so probably it will be very long time...
try different distro. debian seems to be good one...
