I installed th ATI linux driver that I got from the ATI website. It says hardware acceleration in enabled, right? why won't my GL screensavers even run right? I have slack 10.2 (2.4.31) and a p3 1Ghz

I don't know if Slackware has it but did you run X86Config (or XOrgconfig) and/or SaX2 as root? These should setup your drivers. I have a 9600 running fine with 3d on my SuSE 9.3 system at home.
most the gl screensavers are fine, when I set them to display the frame rate they are high numbers, 150+. Euphoria is an example of one that doesn't work. It is labeled Euphoria(GL) on the list. All the ones under GL + not labeled (GL) work right. The ones that are labeled ****(GL) don't. I'm confused.
