Asus or Gigabyte MB with 915P which mode support Linux?

Hi all,

Now, I am using Gigabyte GA-8I915P Duo Pro MB, but I install RHAL 4, RC3, RC4 failed on this MB with my WD1600JD 160GB SATA HDD ... and now a friend need a MB, so want to sell this MB to my friend and then buy a New one

But ... I much keep all old hardware like RAM (DDR 400), HDD (SATA), ATI X600 Display Card etc.. so I need need a new MB which brand from Asus and Gigabyte that support old hardware ...

But, it much be can install RHEL4 or FC 4/3 and if possible Debian ...

Here any Asus or Gigabyte who have some mode that can give me you are successful install RHEL 4, RC4/3 or Debian, just give me the model, like Asus P5GDC Deluxe etc ...

My need is, have SATA with ICH6R, IDE x4 (SinceI had two old IDE IBM 40GB and 30GB Hdd, I don't want to give them up, so I know 915P just have one IDE, it give me to one DVD-+rw and DVD-Rom used, so need addition IDE port to install the old IDE HDD), IEEE 1394, PCIE 1x Gb Ethnet, ATX Size, 915P, DDR 400 (But DDR2 also Ok, just .... it price a bit high for me, so DDR 400 is enough for me)

Thx for your time.
