Asus G2P

Hello, I've gotten a new laptop recently, and installed Debian on it. It runs really nice but i'm having some issues configuring the wlan card. I'm using the current ndiswrapper source. The driver and card both seem fine and i was able to scan for a network. I disabled encryption across the wireless so it's wide open. When i attempt to connect using DHCP i see activity briefly on the router but it doesn't pick up an IP. When i try to use static IP's i receive no errors but get no connectivity when i disable the eth card.
