are dvd burners feasible in linux?

i was thinking of getting a dvd burner but wanted to know if it would be feasible under linux. has anyone had problems with them? could i burn dvd iso with k3b?

Feasible? Yes. I use one (a Pioneer). If you know what sort you'll be getting, check the compatibility list, but chances are pretty good that it will work.
I don't use k3b, but their website says it handles DVDs, and I'm inclined to believe it ;)

Iso are no problem burned an iso dvd of FC3. What is nicer is a drive that is DVD-+R/RW/RAM.
