Apple Magic Mouse horizontal scroll & middle click?

Hello,

I understand that there is support for the Apple Magic Mouse in the recent Linux kernels. However, can anyone tell me if the following are supported under Linux?

(1) 360 degree scrolling, or at least horizontal and vertical scroll.

(2) Ability to middle click. I know this is possible on Macs by installing an app called MagicPrefs. So hoping it is possible in Linux, too.

I would really appreciate it if you could confirm Linux is able to do any of the above. If not, suggestions for other mice with those capabilities would be great, too.

Thank you!

on the desktop ?
or in Firefox and Seamonkey ?

if the web browser then edit the line in
Code:

about:config
"general.autoScroll"
toggle it to "true"

That's great, thanks for the tip!

However, it would be ideal if I can enable middle click and horizontal scrolling globally. Is that possible? If so, how?

(If it is impossible with the Apple Magic Mouse, can you suggest another mouse that can globally horizontal scroll and middle click?)

Thanks!
