Question any known support or hardware information canon 3000 scanners?

yes, i read the sane mailing lists
there seems a lack of cooperation from canon...

so we will have to reverse engineer the usb traffic and build a driver or throw it back to canon.

anyone has done analyzing this devices so far?

I'd try asking the sane mailing lists.
Or.. getting a book on writing device drivers for Linux and having a go at it
