Another Prob with driver 3C940

Hello,

i a newbie on linux so help me

i try to install a debian but i have a problem to compile the 3C940 drivers (3C2000.o).

I follow an install guide so i only have text environnement (no X server).

The compilation seems to be good but when there is the insmod 3C2000.o i have the following message:

Kernel-module version mismatch
3C2000.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.18
while this kernel is version 2.4.18-bf2.4

so could you help me to resolve this problem.

thanks

P.S: Excuse my english, i'm french

Modify /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h
Let kernel version 2.4.18 to 2.4.18-bf2.4
You can try it
I have question.
gcc: /usr/src/linux/include/linux/autoconf.h: No such file or directory
Do you have this message ?
