I know there are several on linuxquestions already, but none seem to answer my question. Ok, here goes, I have read in the posts that you can get both heads on this card working, I understand how to do this (I am not a Newbie, just not totally familiar with the ati driver setup). I have also read that you can get one of the heads and the tv-out to work.
Ok, my question is can you get both heads to work, my card has a VGA and a DVI (which i have a converter for VGA attached to), and also the TV-out as well. I am putting this in a jukebox and want to show the music selections on the two computer monitors, Dell p780's, and use the TV-out to show videos or soome kind of graphical display when music is playing.
If this is possible how do I accomplish this, I know that I will have to go into xorg.conf (I am using x.org 6.8, probably with either Ubuntu or Fedora Core 4) and edit it by hand, I have no problem with this as I have done this with several of my computers. My issue with fglrxconfig is it will not let you select more than two monitors.
Any help with this would be appreciated. I am going to try to either write my own jukebox app or , more likely, I have a friend who is a really good programmer and will have him write it for me.
