Announce : Installing a Windows/Linux Dual Boot on Intel ICH5R SATA Raid

Hi,

After quite a bit of trouble I've managed to boot linux from SATA RAID on my Asus P4P800DX, which has onboard software RAID support using the Intel ICH5R southbridge. I've written down the steps I've taken along the way and have put them online for all to try.

I have a very similair setup but am using the asus p4p800e-deluxe with two sata drives in ich5r and am trying to get linux to install with winxp. your url is dead. was wondering if you still have the instructs on how you achieved dual boot winxp and lixux with raid on intel chip. Would greatly appreciate any help. thx
