shamz Member Registered: Aug 2003 Location: south africa Distribution: suse Posts: 35 Rep:	and i thought linux doesnt hang hA!!!HA!!!HA!!!smartlink modem problem in suse9 i have a smartlink modem for my notebook and i configured it like stipulated in the documentation for suse 9.0 suse 9.0 has the drivers for this modem i setup the modem in kinterfnet as /dev/ttySL0 i get a response that cannot open port if i configure it as /dev/modem the notebook hangs HAS ANYONE GOT ANY SOLUTIONS TO MY PROBLEMS WHICH I SEEM TO BE HAVING MORE THEN ANY OS I PLAYED WITH Last edited by shamz; 12-25-2003 at 12:48 PM.
