Analog Headset - Mic Is Not Working.
I have an analog headset I am using on my Red Hat Linux station. I use it for phone calls. I could hear people when I am making a call but people at the other end don't hear me. I have tested the set on a Windows system and the Microphone works perfectly okay. What do I need to do to resolve this? Could somebody help me overcome this problem?

You may have to activate your microphone input. In several Linux distributions, it's disabled by default. If you're using KDE, GNOME or XFce, you'll find a configuration panel when you right-click on your volume icon in the taskbar.
If it's not that, I suggest checking the settings of the software you're using for VoIP. |
