AMD Wireless Compatability
I have a Averatec 3200 series laptop they do not have my comp on their website any more they have upgraded it and changed the processor anyways on to the question. I own Redhat Enterprise Linux 3 (Redhat Professional Workstation) My laptop I have has a AMD Athlon XP-M processor and the laptop has built in 802.11 wireless compatability with an on/off switch for the wireless. I am sick of windows but I need internet I also have the option for a wireless card to. My question is will my wireless work the my distro of linux or will I have to buy a wireless card and if so for either one can you point me to a fool proof or really easy to understand configuration guide to get it working? I have a netgear wireless G router if you need to know. I believe I covered everything if there is anymore info you need to answer the question just let me know I will supply you with it. Thank You for you help I really appreaite it.
