What struck me funny was the AMD DURON 500MHz being OCd to 9.9GHz???
Surely this is incorrect I thought. However, it was posted on a couple of different pages, and 3 different sites.
Can anyone confirm if a Duron 500MHz can actually do 9.9GHz??? and is it even stable? Does it give off sun flares or what?

Just curious.

Yeah, its got to be a typo, there just aren't enough voltage controls on a mobo to crank that much juice into something like that, .99Ghz sounds about right, 990... those old Durons were very high quality chips and immenently OC-able.

9.9GHz, lol. where can i get one? the Durons are cheap now, too. :D

that's weird it would be on 3 diff. pages though. they must have copied and pasted it from the typo.

Thats what I thot... about the cut n paste and the .99 rather than 9.9.
I just couldn't believe someone wouldn't take enough care to type correct values, much less 2 other pages copying bogus values.
