All-in-one printer

I am thinking about replacing my Epson 790 with something newer and trying to make a choice between DX3800 and RX425. Any comments or recommendations?

Not familiar with those units. Check out the second link to see if they work with linux. I use a HP psc3310. Any of the 3000 series works fine. I just perfer using a network interface to print too. No need to have a dependent machine turn on to print too.

HP provides linux drivers for it. All of it works under linux except for the fax feature of the unit. Still can manually send and recieve faxes with it. Just does not interface with the computer. Just about all inkjet hp printers is compatible with linux using either the HPIJS driver which is the driver only or the HPLIP which is the driver and gui apps to see ink levels and help setup to sane for scanning.

Just my opinion
