AIR-LMC35x Q's

Okay this is a multi-part question:
1) How easy is the AIR-LMC35x series to use in linux? Install, maintenence, etc.
2) This is a hardware question not really a linux question but. . . . Does the AIR-LMC35x NEED an external antenna to work at all or does it work but have a very short range without the antenna?

Thanks!

Ohh.... okay, that's the Cisco Aironet 350. Took me a second. That card competes with the Orinoco for being the best supported wireless adapter under Linux. I don't know about using an antenna extension with it, but gut tells me that just helps the range and it would handle the internal 50ft (far short of the 100 promised), just fine. Any recent distro will have the modules precompiled, or you can use Cisco's, and to configure it use Cisco's cute dealy-woohoo, or iwconfig.

Works great under Open and FreeBSD too.

Cheers,

Finegan

Thanks I guess I should have titled it something more understandable. I have heard that it is the best supported card for linux and that cisco is determined to maintain it, thanks for all the help!
