Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

again speedtouch 330 usb adsl modem problem :(

hi all,

I am relatively new to linux. I am using mdk 10 community -kernel 2.6.3. I bought a speedtouch usb 300 adsl modem since I was told it was compatible with mdk10-kernel2.6.

The modem is the silver variety and I think it is revision-4. MyISP requires pppoe. I found out that speedtouch drivers currently support pppoa only.

Is it possible to get it work using pppoe under linux mdk?

thanks in advance..

I think roaring penguin is pppoe for Linux. Google for it or check freshmeat for it.
