Would help if you told us about your other hardware too, but "data lost" is hard to say right now.

First thing I'd do, is to totally power off (remove battery if it's a laptop), pull the power cords, and leave it powered down for a few minutes. Try it again. If you still have no luck, repeat this process, but also remove the motherboard CMOS battery, and try it again. After that, I'd update your system BIOS. Could be that your machine burped when you suspended, and now it's having a problem.

If you still have no luck, it could be that your hard drive or motherboard just plain died. Put it in another machine, and see if it sees it. If so, your drive is ok, but mobo isn't. If not...drive is dead, so get a new one, and reload from backups. I doubt a suspend to RAM would kill a hard drive...probably just coincidence.

Yes, I checked... my disk is broken. Probably it is Seagate 7200.11 disk firmware bug: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/1288...-720011-hdds/? I check this.
Thank You.

It was exactly it! BSY error was fixed, all data was retrieved :-)
I recommend this solution: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/1288...-720011-hdds/? !
