Adding Kyocera FS-1020D driver to Fedora core 2

There is a linux .ppd for this printer on the software cd and the website. I've tried following the instructions in the read me, which say, put the .ppd file in the /usr/share/cups/models/KyoceraMita folder. But this doesn't work with Fedora Core 2. Any ideas on how to make this show up in the gnome print manager? At the moment I'm using FS-1010 driver, but I'd like to use the proper one!

Thanks
Alan
