Acer Aspire 5520-5334 3D Hardware Acceleration not surpported *Missing drivers*

In Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04, they worked perfectly, I could use anything it allowed me to. Still... I didn't want my laptop and desktop running the same distro, because then how would I learn? It's an old PC, it was my dad's side family Laptop *Their 4th one, succeeding 3 desktops infected with massive viruses that made it unbootable* and that laptop had a simple Rogue *Easy Fix* and after getting rid of it *I may have failed to get rid of a rootkit or two because I an email from comcast telling me one of my PCs was a botnet a week after I took it home* and I decided wipe Windows Vista that plagued it! The Hardware is very old, and I think the fans are blocked because after charging for an entire hour it's only half charged and it's gotten hot, and if it's up to 3 then it's alarmingly hot. Anyway...

Above is the background story ^^^^^^^^

I need to find some NVidia GeForce 7000M Proprietary Drivers for my Acer Aspire 5520-5334. Without the drivers I can not enable anything that requires hardware acceleration including compiz-fusion and docky *I always use it, I love it!* Can anyone help me find it? I've searched their website for it but I can't find anything that goes up to 7000M, it only goes up to around 600M. I wonder if it's too outdated... Doubt it, it's only 4-5 years old.

You can use the standard 270.41.19 driver for that card.

Sorry, didn't thought about the language. I Have the same drivers installed for my GTX260 and the installation and the driver settings are in English (I use en_US locale), so I think it will function for you.
To be sure, here the correct links:
32 bit
64 bit

Now, how did you install it? I'm running Fedora 14 if that helps. I tried running it immediately after downloading but it said gedit couldn't open nor recognize it, and it said when I tried running from the command line that it wasn't recognize it. Sorry, I'm still a Linux newbie. Also, may I ask how you found the driver and how you know it's compatible? I plan on distro hopping from Ubuntu to Fedora to Arch to Slack to Gentoo to even LFS eventually, so I have to know how to get the necessary drivers that are needed.
