hi All,


I have a Redhat 9 system and Sandisk 256MB USB drive. I want to create a USB boot to Linux.

Please tell how to access the USB drive in redhat 9 and create a USB drive boot disk?

hi,
do fdisk -l, that how will show u how ur usb drive got detected.then handle it like a usual harddisk like mount, partition etc.
To create a boot disk, copy the .img (bootable file) file from ur first cd and do

dd if=(filename.img) of=/dev/sda

if sda is ur usb drive.It will destroy data on your pen drive
