Accessing Fibre Channel HDDs

What I'm looking for in a nutshell is any utilities that can help me work with viewing and manipulating HDDs so that I can make them useable.

The lowdown:
I've got an EMC Clariion DAE (basically a large 10 drive chassis) attached via copper FC cable to an FC HBA (either Emulex or Qlogic). I can access only one drive at a time and I've got two installed in the DAE. I've swapped the drives around but cannot figure out why I can only get one drive useable. At first it was the 18GB HDD in the DAE now that one is in reachable and the 73GB I can format and mount.

Anytime I use fdisk "Unable to read" errors on the particular disk that I cannot read at the time.

This problem is the same and persistent to whichever HBA I use. The Qlogic HBA has a low level format utility that I've used on both disks with no change in success.

So again what I'm looking for is some utility or some sort of help in accessing these disks to make them useable.

Sorry, forgot other details:

Fedora5
A64 3500+
1GB RAM
Primary HDD - WD 74G Raptor
DVD Drive
GigE Ethernet

No problems at all on Fedora install. Just cannot access both of those fibre channel disks at the same time.
