Hi all,

I need a budget graphic card with 2G memory and found;

Inno3D GT520 2GB Graphics Card spec
http://www.getprice.com.au/Inno3D-GT...m#more-details

I don't game.

Has any folk on the forum tried this card before? Is there any driver problem for Linux? Pls advise. TIA

AFAIK there can be problems with the nouveau driver with the GT520. If you plan to use the binary driver it should work fine.
Other than that, if you don't game you may rather go for a card with passive cooling, like the Geforce G210 or the Radeon HD6450.
EVGA and Sapphire, the two I listed here, are in general good quality, but I can't say anything about the stores, since I am not Australian.

Why would you need a 2GB card?

GT520s are just rebranded/upclocked GT4XX cards with less shaders and texture mapping units.

G210s or HD5450/6450s are cheaper, and less likely to have issues than the GT520s.

Staticice is better than getprice.com.au IMO.

I'd be VERY careful with a lot of the online only retailers in australia, quite a few of them are dodgy. Umart/MSY/etc. generally have the same or better prices, and you can get the parts over the counter without postage costs and risks.
