hello to everyones!
It s my second post here I m glad to be here!
Please take in account I m new to linux/english world so please forget my mistakes!!! Maybe I'll take some lessons in future but i ve no enough time at the moment...
I m writing because my asus m2npv-mv recently is dead... So i m going to change my mobo with another one which should be 100% compatible with LINUX and have some oveclocks capabilities.
I googled a lot and in HCL i found this ABIT Kn9 Ultra for my AMD x2 5600 (socket am2). It seem

It seems to work perfectly but I need a couple of information, if you are able to give me off course (expecially abit kn9 ultra owner or experieced users):
1) how does 7.1 audio soundcard work? May you use all its 7.1 channel with dolby/mic funcions?
2) how can you flash the bios? did Abit develop any kind of system-tools for linux?
3) Are there any monitoring-tools for linux (but doesnt matter if are abit or linux/kernel tools) compatible with this mobo? I took a look at the ait's website and I found just a couple of driver for xp32/64:
http://www2.abit.com.tw/page/en/moth...RODINFO=Driver
or xp/vista utilities:

I apprecciate you waste your time for reading my stuff
So please let me say thank you
