A question on low end printer
 

Hi folks,

I'm prepared to get a low end printer for printing documets only at home. The use cycle may be once a week printing 2-3 pages, A-4. My target printer is

HP Deskjet 3550

Kindly advise can this printer work on Debian, Fedora Core 2 and FreeBSD without much difficulty on setup, searching driver on Internet.

If HP Deskjet 3550 is not reliable my next choice will be HP Deskjet 3650. It can print photo which I don't need.

Please comment. TIA.

LinuxPrinting.org Check this out this will give you lots of info on what printers work best with what distros, and if anyone has any problems and what they did to fix it
