A Hardware Sata RAID1 on Linux
Hi, my configuration is like this:
2 x 120gb Seagate SATA
and onchip RAID controller. I have already set up in controller's internal bios RAID 1 array. On computer boot promt it shows everything is just fine: Mirror Disk 1 Disk 2.
When i start installation of FC2 linux, my onchip raid controller is correctly detected and right driver is loaded. Then comes turn for partitioning and... surprise! There are still 2 separate hard drives sda i sdb.
I don't want to use software RAID because i don't believe its reliability.
How can i make it one drive to system installer?
