A good sound card....

Hey all. I'm in the market for a sound card and can't really find much selection. Here's the rundown: I currently own a Creative SB Audigy SE sound card, and I swap between my Sennheiser HD280 PROs and some Grado SR80s. I'm mainly a Linux user and have my entire music/movie collection in Debian Etch, but I also game in Windows, so I need something that can be sort of a jack of all trades. I've had a Creative X-Fi in the past before using Linux and good 'phones, but I had to sell it to help pay rent

Does anyone know of a good consumer sound card, or a sub $200 pro audio card that works with Linux? Thanks for your help.

I'm looking for a good and CHEAP sound card. My budget is U$S80-U$S100.
I want a new sound card to record samples with my guitar.
The one I have now (integrated ac97) records too much floor noise and sometimes it records one second later. I'm using linux, ubuntu to be more precise.

Thanks, Matías.

did you click the link to see the list of supported cards ? you have my recommendation for a company that makes great cards for recording.. you could search for one of their low end cards that should hit that prince range.
