A cheap Linux handheld ssh dumb-terminal?

Does anybody know of a CHEAP handheld device that can act like an ssh dumb-terminal to connect to a local Wifi network? Basically, I want exactly the functionality you would get from flashing the linux rom on a Zipit device ($99)... but I don't want to go that route because the new version requires soldering inside the unit which I am not about to attempt.

You can pickup a Zaurus SL-5500 on eBay with a CF Wifi card for about $100. Install the current OpenZaurus distribution, and you've got a lot more than just a dumb handheld SSH terminal.
