Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

3D acceleration same time with tty

Are there graphic cards that can use 3D acceleration same time when using tty? This would be very useful if someone want's to use tty and sometimes want's go to X playing some 3D accelerated games like Tux Racer, Cannon Smash or Neverball.

I meant that I can't use tty while I have 3D acceleration on. This is my problem: When I start my computer to Linux and login in tty and then go to X and then back to tty it gets messed up. It shows white blinking lines on black. I can do commands in it but I can't see anything but those lines. So everything is ok when I turn 3D acceleration off but I can't play games like Tux Racer, Cannon Smash or Neverball. I guess the problem is that my graphic card can't handle it. So I'm asking if anyone knows any new graphic cards that can handle this problem or has another way to solve it.
