Is there any hope to have my " 3 com windows modem TI" working with linux redhat 9 ???? i wanna go online ...........
did anybody have a similar modem and a driver for linux, i heared it won't work is this true???
If you can go to the linmodems.org site, download scanModem.Run it and this will tell you what drivers you will need for your modem.The Mandrake 9.1 file is ltmodem-kv_2.4.21_0.13mdk-8.26a9-1.i586.rpm,Redhat will probably be similiar.You will find the drivers at ltmodem.heby.de.
To find out your version of the kernel, input uname -r in a terminal.
