2 Sound Cards, /dev/dsp Not Found. TV Tuner?

I tried installing Gentoo (NOTE: Tried) 2005.0 Stage 3 using genkernel.

It all went rather well, I got Xorg, KDE etc. but I have no sound, after further investigating the problem, sound apps like XMMS MPlayer say /dev/dsp is not found. I give the command:
lspci | grep -i audio; and I get a strange feedback:
0000:00:02.7 Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] Sound Controller (rev a0)
0000:02:0c.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder (rev 05)

I only have 1 onboard soundcard, I think it might be my TV Tuner seeing as ive installed Gentoo before and it worked without, is there a way I can get this working nicely? TV Tuner staying inside he machine but not interfering, or can I somehow get /dev/dsp working correctly?

Thanks.

Ive tried unmerging it, it does it successfully, I emerge it again, I get: * ALSA is already compiled into the kernel.
* Please check to make sure these options are set correctly.
* Once you have satisfied these options, please try merging
* this package again.

Alsa /etc/init.d/alsasound is not found.
