2.6.0-test9 - sound
 

Hi,

I have just installed 2.6.0-test 9 on my suse 9.0 rig for source.

Everything else works fine, except sound.

What I am trying to do is get sound to start automatically when system boots. At the moment I have to modprobe snd-emu10k1 once in KDE, including the oss drivers.

I then have to configure alsa again for my sound settings via alsamixer.

Any idea on how to load the modules on startup and keep my settings.

I have been trying all day, with no luck, including adding lines to the modules.conf.

Any help would be great
