Yep, but wow, that CF-48 has a weird setup.

What chipset does the CF-48 Toughbook use?
This depends on the specific model number:
CF-48M/N (Mk1) -- Intel® 440BX PCIset
CF-48P/R (Mk2) -- Intel® 440BX PCIset
CF-48S/U (Mk3) -- Intel® 830MP
CF-48V/X (Mk4) -- Intel® 845MP
CF-48E/F (Mk5) -- Intel® 855PM
CF-48G/H (Mk6) -- Intel 855PM

Not often you'll see that many chipsets being used by one model laptop.
I though, 'hah, that explains it' when I foudn that page...the BX chipset is limited to 1GB RAM. But then I look closer and the laptop you are using I think has the 845MP which is also limited to 1GB of RAM...
Maybe its actually got the 855MP chipset (2GB limit), maybe intel wasnt toally honest with its RAM limits on the 845MP.
But another example of why its best to list the full model number, thanks and kudos to you rokytnji for listing the hardware.
