[Sound] No sound out of Soundblaster 64 PCI @ Redhat 9

Oke as many people here I had problems with Soundblaster 64 PCI aka ES1370 i don't get sound out of it. And no I can't find the problem on the web Kudzu (setup tool from redhat) does detect the sound card and loads the modules. When it get loaded i get this in log:

Aug 15 10:38:33 localhost kernel: es1370: version v0.38 time 17:27:39 Mar 13 2003
Aug 15 10:38:33 localhost kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:11.0
Aug 15 10:38:33 localhost kernel: es1370: found adapter at io 0xec00 irq 11
Aug 15 10:38:33 localhost kernel: es1370: features: joystick off, line in, mic impedance 0

Seems pretty oke to me, but at features I miss the output, i only see lin and mic port. I tried to solve to give mod parameters. Still didn't solved. When startting kde/artsd:

Error while initializing the sound driver:
can't start sound i/o

I also changed the mixer to unmute/play at 100%, and the sound cable is in the good "hole". Well i'm at the point doing stupid things now, i tried for days. And i WANT my sound Well below there is more info. If more needed ask for it

Regards

I don't use RH but if you can't solve your problem in the context of the sound system you have you could try installing ALSA. Documentation and packages are here:

Well you simply don't believe this. Installed the Nvidia drivers for video card and sound started to work! Big mistery for me, something with irq i guess
