Come on, 700+ posts, you can do better then that. What graphics card do you have? Have you installed the correct drivers? How does you xorg looks like?.
I have an nForce4 motherboard with one of my ATI video cards, a 9200 128MB DDR 8x AGP and the CD that's included with my card, the one that's in the box it came in that is, says it's for Microsoft Windows and I couldn't find any Linux logo stickers on the box either. All I could find was stickers for Windows XP, 98, 2000 and some other Microsoft O/S. But aside from that I went to ATI.com and all I found there was RPM's which of course don't play well with Linux OSes based on Debian. So there is the dilema. The standard Radeon driver that came with X is working for VGA graphics but not for the video TV out port and of course since ATI has no support for Linux by what they have up on their website and what's not in the box I paid $100 bucks for US, I'm a bit perplexed how I make the TV out work with Debian 3.1 (Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary).
Can you enlighten me with where to get the driver, etc?
