xwindows on virtural pc.


I hv install RH8 on virtural pc - vmware and try to start xwindows , but it pop up " No Screen found" , is that xwindows can't be started on virtural pc ? thx.

I'd say run Linux under VPC or VM in full screen mode.

On a side note, you could run Windows under VM 100% perfectly.

vmware tools

hi,
u have to install vmware tools. Select vmware tools install from the settings menu. then type mount /mnt/cdrom
cd /mnt/cdrom
copy the gz file to a temp location and gunzip it.
then run install.pl this should set up your X properly
