Angry XWindosw - 1G (and more) mem usage!!

after start X
295 root 11 0 140M 11M 1716 S 0,1 2,4 0:00 X
297 drand 11 0 2928 2924 2188 S 0,0 0,5 0:00 icewm
..

after some hours of work
PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
295 root 17 0 966M 303M 7708 R 3,1 61,4 2:43 X
31365 drand 9 0 52212 45M 26352 S 0,0 9,1 2:23 mozilla-bin

X will use more and more memory, and then swap because no memory available anymore, until my swap space is completely exceeded.
my swap is about 1.4G in total. ram - 512M.

Then i have (/var/log/kernel):
Nov 28 18:44:16 home kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 8390 (mozilla-bin).
...
Nov 28 18:47:20 home kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 13727 (xmms).
..
Nov 28 18:50:54 linda kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 8380 (sim).
..
Nov 28 18:51:02 linda kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 8350 (X).

over-(

XFree86/4.3.0 (bin distr!!)

Yeah, that doesn't seem normal. I'd check for memory leaks.
