Question xvidtune


Ok ive used xvidtune to get my monitor looking right now how do i put the settings into XF86config so they will be permanant?

This is what xvidtune spits out.

Num hsync: 1, Num vsync: 1
hsync range 0: 31.60 - 56.50
vsync range 0: 43.00 - 72.00
"1024x768" 75.00 1024 1064 1200 1328 768 771 777 806 -hsync -vsync

my system uses the file XF86Config-4 in /etc/X11
so in my case i just scroll down to Section "Monitor" and to the line that says Modeline.

so u'r modeline with the new settings should look like:
Modeline "1024x768" 75.00 1024 1064 1200 1328 768 771 777 806 -hsync -vsync

just back up the 2 files before ne changes.
