xscreensaver ..... what's the deal ? :(

Hi. I use Linux for programming C. Anyway .... I had the old xscreensaver (3.XX) installed and most of the screensavers were working tip top. I have Redhat 7.2 with the nvidia openGL drivers installed. I was browsing the xscreensaver site and noticed my xscreensaver version was really old and there were a few nifty new savers I wanted to view. Well, I installed the new xscreensaver (4.33) I think .. and now habout half of the screensavers just display some stupid message saying the file cant be found (the particular screensaver I am trying to preview).

Someone said that maybe these savers that I cant seem to get to work are not installed. Isn't xscreensaver a One in all program that conatins all the screensavers in the one program??

I just want to be able to watch these cool visions as I doze of to sleep at night after a long nite of C programming
and online studying of the internals of the CPU and how it works ...

thanks

I have a friend of mine, very good friend, a very fine young man, just turn 21 today. His name suppose to be called Brian, due to human error that his father made a mistake in his birth cert, we call him Brain today. Thanks to his lucky name, all his lecturers take notice of him since the 1st day of class. Poor guy, celebrating his 21st birthday alone, his gf went to Australia for further study the day before his b'day. Luckily, he is buying a laptop, a gift from his parents, so I recommended him a Compaq laptop instead of the sony vaio or fujitsu.
