Xorg refresh rate

I'm trying to get 100hz at 1600x1200, which is recommended in my monitor's manual. Xorg only has horizSync and VertRefresh settings, which are specified in the manual as: horizsync 30-142, and vertrefresh 50-200. I have entered the vertrefresh and horizsync settings in xorg.conf, but will this give me 1600x1200 @ 100hz? Is there a way to more specifically specify "100hz", as there is in other OSs? Thanks for your reply.

Try this modeline.

Modeline "1600x1200@100" 402.88 1600 1632 3160 3192 1200 1221 1240 1261

Make sure your graphics card and monitor can take horisync 126.21 kHz.
