xorg: can I have "fake" screens inside windows?

Hi All,
I'm doing some development which involves multiple screens (we're creating a video wall). Sadly I don't have 9 computer screens at home to play around with. I was wondering if it's possible to tell X to create a "screen" which is displayed inside a window on my desktop. I envisage 9 little windows each displaying what would be sent to an actual physical screen if it were plugged in. The important bit is that these all look like real screens to everything outside X, so that my code will work when I use it for real. Hope I was clear!
Thanks in advance,
Alex

According to the command listed in my KDE menu; this command should do the trick:
Code:
gdmflexiserver --xnest
