Xmms problem


Hi,

I have mandrake 10 and KDE 3.2 I installed XMMS and now each time i start to hear am MP3 file it just repeat the first sound and plays this sound over and over....

what can i do to fix this?

it sounds like a corrupt program or config file.

totaly take the program out and re-install it.

also try playing mp3 in another program.. does it work then?

it could be something else, but try that first and let us know.

How much RAM does your system have? How much swapping is your machine doing? Perhaps print the output from the following command:

cat /proc/meminfo
