xls2csv can't handle dates.

I need to convert excel (.xls) files to ascii files with coma sep.

Code:
xls2csv -f%d%m%y <my_file>
gives date with 4 years and a day more than in the .xls files.

25/07/2008 turns 26/07/2012

Please help

Alain.
