xinetd DEAD

xinetd is dying as soon as I start the service.11 (Segmentation fault)
The message I got in the log is

Bad operator for attribute: socket_type= [line=18]
{general_handler} (2237) Unexpected signal: 11 (Segmentation fault)
last message repeated 9 times

any clues

posting (parts of) your /etc/xinetd.conf file (esp. line 18) might help

from "man xinetd.comf":

[...]
socket_type Possible values for this attribute
include:

stream stream-based service

dgram datagram-based service

raw service that requires direct
access to IP

seqpacket service that requires reli_
able sequential datagram
transmission

I took these lines out and it works perfect. Something to do with samba I am guessing. What I'm not sure
