xf86config


i am having difficulties in configuring the X Windows (XFree86)
using xf86config on red hat linux..
is there any parameter for xf96config that will AutoDetect my hardware/graphics settings ?
cuz the xf86config setup is asking so many questions that i dont know what to answer.. so i want xf86config to autodetect my settings.. plz help me

the only difficult q's i can think of would be the monitor frequencies...especially for some1 that managed to install gentoo alright.
sometimes they're printed on the back of the monitor otherwise do a google search for them using the model no(also on the back).
the only other one i can think of is xkb options... i just said 'no'.

post the q's u get stuck on.
