I just ran up2date for the first time, but now X Windows will not start up with the following error:

I have RedHat 7.2 by the way...

Not sure unless your update, updated or reconfigured improperly. Try reconfiguring X and see what that turns up, etc.

How exactly do I reconfigure Xwindows? I don't have too much experience with this kind of thing. Thanks.

Easiest way I know of in 7.2 is just to type as root at a console is: Xconfigurator
