wu-ftpd wrong login directory

I have setup an FTP server using wu-ftpd.

Several people are using it for downloading and uploading files.
When some user exceeds his disk space we follow a series of actions that are executed by a custom script. ( I couldn't setup quota for those "virtual" users)

But I what I noticed is that when you rename his home directory folder to something else
he can still login and now uses / (the chrooted /) as his home and can see all folders.

I 've messed around with the ftpaccess file and the guest account but without a solution.

Any help will be very appreciated.

Thank you!
