Wrong module path

Is there anyway I can correct the path to some modules I was testing out. I was testing out some wireless modules, and silly me, I maded a backup directory within the normal modules directory. IE:

<normal modules path>/net/wireless <- Normal

<normal modules path>/net/wireless/backup-default <- Where linux is now looking for the modules for the wireless card.

So now if I delete the "backup-default", system keeps trying to find the modules there.

Is there anyway I can rebuild the module list so that it points back to the "wireless" directory??

A search for google on
path search module linux kernel
Would have led you easily to the result.
Any 4 out of the 5 top pages returned have your answer (indeed the first one does too), but just in case you need more clarification.

Please please, search google before posting, especially because people have written articles on this before.
It wastes everyone's time.

And I did search Google. I'm not one to go around asking questions on forums because I don't want to spend the time search google. I guess I just wasn't using the right search terms on google. Last last night I was able to find the answer I was looking for(using google), "depmod -a"
