Writing a Script

could someone explain what i have to do to make a script? is it like a batch file? i have a slew of drives to mount and i dont want them to do it automaticly at boot and i want to put them into a script and mount them all with one command......actually its the bind command....do i just put everything into a file and name it something and then excecute it with the "./" option?

please help

first chmod 755 yourscriptfilename
then write it
then execute it
it works same way as good old autoexec.bat .., but a little more sytax to choose from

Put them in /etc/fstab with the noauto option

then use mount -a
